Ph.D. Admission, Degree Requirements & Application Deadlines
Students who have completed their four-year degree (or U.S. bachelor's degree equivalent) and/or master's degree may apply for a Ph.D.
Application deadlines vary per academic department:
Application checklist
- Application for Graduate Admission
- Application Fee payment, along with your non-refundable application fee
- Transcript Request-Bachelor's Degree Granting Institution, with transcripts attached, from the institution at which you earned (or will earn) your baccalaureate degree (U.S. bachelor equivalent)
- Transcript Request for All Other Colleges Attended, with transcripts attached
- If you are an International Student, send the International Students Confidential Financial Statement of Support. If you plan to bring family members with you, be certain to complete that section of the form
- International Applicants must submit a photocopy of the first two pages of your passport.
- A report of your scores on the GRE General Test and TOEFL (for International Students only)
- Any supplemental application materials that may be required by the department. Please refer to the department websites for more information.
